விளக்கவுரை:
தேற்றரவாளர் என்றால், நமக்காகப் பரிந்து பேசுபவர் என்று பொருள். அதாவது, நமக்காக வாதாடுகின்ற ஒரு வழக்கறிஞர் எனவும் பொருள் கொள்ளலாம். எப்பொழுதும் குற்றம் சாட்டுகின்ற சாத்தானுக்கு எதிராக வாதிடுகின்றவர். இதைத்தான் இயேசுகிறிஸ்து உலகத்தில் இருந்தபொழுது செய்து வந்தார். நமக்காக ஒரு வழக்கறிஞர் போலச் செயல்பட்டார். அவர் உயிர்த்தெழுந்து பரலோகம் சென்ற பின், நமக்காக மற்றொரு நிலையான தேற்றரவாளரை அல்லது வழக்கறிஞரை அனுப்பினார்.
அப்பொழுது வானத்திலே ஒரு பெரிய சத்தமுண்டாகி: இப்பொழுது இரட்சிப்பும் வல்லமையும் நமது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யமும், அவருடைய கிறிஸ்துவின் அதிகாரமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது; இரவும் பகலும் நம்முடைய தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக நம்முடைய சகோதரர்மேல் குற்றஞ் சுமத்தும்பொருட்டு அவர்கள்மேல் குற்றஞ்சாட்டுகிறவன் தாழத்தள்ளப்பட்டுப்போனான். யோவான் 17:12

விளக்கவுரை:
கடவுளுடைய ஒரு உன்னதமான கொடை, “ஒரு மனிதன் தன் பாவத்தை விட்டு விட்டு, உண்மையாக மனம் திரும்புவானேயாகில், பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் அவனுக்காக பிதாவினிடத்திலே வாதாடி (பரிந்து பேசி), அவனுடைய பாவங்களை முற்றிலுமாக அற்றுப்போகச் செய்கின்றார்.”
பேதுரு அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் மனந்திரும்பி, ஒவ்வொருவரும் பாவமன்னிப்புக்கென்று இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தினாலே ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள், அப்பொழுது பரிசுத்தஆவியின் வரத்தைப் பெறுவீர்கள். (அப்போஸ்தலர் 2:38)
பொல்லாதவர்களாகிய நீங்கள் உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு நல்ல ஈவுகளைக் கொடுக்க அறிந்திருக்கும்போது, பரமபிதாவானவர் தம்மிடத்தில் வேண்டிக் கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்குப் பரிசுத்த ஆவியைக் கொடுப்பது அதிக நிச்சயம் அல்லவா என்றார். (லூக்கா 11:13)
கர்த்தரே ஆவியானவர்; கர்த்தருடைய ஆவி எங்கேயோ அங்கே விடுதலையுமுண்டு. ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 3:17)
யோவான் 14:17
17. உலகம் அந்தச் சத்திய ஆவியானவரைக் காணாமலும், அறியாமலும், இருக்கிறபடியால் அவரைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளமாட்டாது; அவர் உங்களுடனே வாசம்பண்ணி உங்களுக்குள்ளே இருப்பதால், நீங்கள் அவரை அறிவீர்கள்.
விளக்கவுரை:
சத்தியத்தை கடைபிடிப்பவர்கள் மட்டுமே அவரை அறியமுடியும். அவர்கள் அனைவரும் நவமான பாசையில் பேசுவார்கள். நவபாசை கடவுளுடைய முக்கியமான ஒரு அடையாளம் அல்லது முத்திரை. நவபாசை பேசாத ஊழியர்கள் மற்றும் விசுவாசிகள் எல்லாம் பொய்யர்கள். அவர்களெல்லாம் வெள்ளாடுகள்.
யோவான் 14:26,18,19

19. இன்னும் கொஞ்சக்காலத்திலே உலகம் என்னைக் காணாது, நீங்களோ என்னைக் காண்பீர்கள்; நான் பிழைக்கிறபடியினால் நீங்கள் பிழைப்பீர்கள்.
விளக்கவுரை:
இயேசுகிறிஸ்து மரித்தோரிடத்திலிருந்து உயிர்த்தெழுந்தது போல், நீங்களும் உயிர்த்தெழுவீர்கள்.
யோவான் 14:20
20. நான் என் பிதாவிலும், நீங்கள் என்னிலும், நான் உங்களிலும் இருக்கிறதை அந்நாளிலே நீங்கள் அறிவீர்கள்.
உங்கள் சரீரமானது நீங்கள் தேவனாலே பெற்றும் உங்களில் தங்கியும் இருக்கிற பரிசுத்த ஆவியினுடைய ஆலயமாயிருக்கிறதென்றும், நீங்கள் உங்களுடையவர்களல்லவென்றும் அறியீர்களா?
கிரயத்துக்குக் கொள்ளப்பட்டீர்களே; ஆகையால் தேவனுக்கு உடையவைகளாகிய உங்கள் சரீரத்தினாலும் உங்கள் ஆவியினாலும் தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்துங்கள். (1 கொரிந்தியர் 6:19,20)
விளக்கவுரை:
பரிசுத்த ஆவியைப் பெற்ற ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவன், அவருக்கு கீழ்ப்படிய வேண்டும். அப்பொழுது தான் எல்லாவற்றையும் கற்றுத்தருவார். அதேநேரத்தில், விசுவாசிகளுடைய செயல்கள் மேய்ப்பர்களுக்கு கோபத்தையும், எரிச்சலையும் கொடுக்கக்கூடியதாக இருக்கக்கூடாது. சில நேரங்களில், மேய்ப்பர்கள் சபிக்கும் அளவிற்கு சில விசுவாசிகள் நடப்பதை பார்க்கின்றேன். சில சிறுவர்கள், எலிசாவை கேலி பண்ணியதால், கடவுளுடைய நாமத்தில் அவர்களைச் சபித்தார். இது இருவருக்குமே நல்லது அல்ல. பரிசுத்த ஆவியை பெற்ற ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவன், இயேசுவைப் போல, பரிசுத்த ஆவியைப் போல பரிந்து பேசுபவனாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.

அவன் (எலிசா) அவ்விடத்தைவிட்டுப் பெத்தேலுக்குப் போனான்; அவன் வழிநடந்துபோகையில் பிள்ளைகள் பட்டணத்திலிருந்து வந்து, அவனைப் பார்த்து: மொட்டைத்தலையா ஏறிப்போ, என்று சொல்லி நிந்தித்தார்கள்.

எலியா என்பவன் நம்மைப்போலப்பாடுள்ள மனுஷஷனாயிருந்தும், மழைபெய்யாதபடிக்குக் கருத்தாய் ஜெபம்பண்ணினான், அப்பொழுது மூன்றுவருஷஷமும் ஆறுமாதமும் பூமியின்மேல் மழை பெய்யவில்லை.
மறுபடியும் ஜெபம்பண்ணினான், அப்பொழுது வானம் மழையைப் பொழிந்தது, பூமி தன் பலனைத் தந்தது.
சகோதரரே, உங்களில் ஒருவன் சத்தியத்தைவிட்டு விலகி மோசம் போகும்போது, மற்றொருவன் அவனைத் திருப்பினால்,
தப்பிப்போன மார்க்கத்தினின்று பாவியைத் திருப்புகிறவன் ஒரு ஆத்துமாவை மரணத்தினின்று இரட்சித்து, திரளான பாவங்களை மூடுவானென்று அறியக்கடவன். (யாக்கோபு 5:16-20)
ஆவியானவர் தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படியே பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்காக வேண்டுதல் செய்கிறபடியால், இருதயங்களை ஆராய்ந்துபார்க்கிறவர் ஆவியின் சிந்தை இன்னதென்று அறிவார். (ரோமர் 8:27)

ஒருவன் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் என்ன நோக்கத்திற்காக இருக்கிறான் என்பதை, அவனுடைய உள்மனதின் எண்ணங்களை கொண்டு கடவுள் அறிவார். அவன், தன்னை மகிமைப்படுத்தவா அல்லது கடவுளை மகிமைப்படுத்தவா அல்லது பணத்திற்க்காகவா அல்லது உலக காரியங்களுக்காகவா – இவை போன்ற அவனுடைய எண்ணத்தின் படியே, கடவுள் அவனுக்குச் செய்கின்றார்.

The Holy Spirit, Our Comforter
John 14:15,16
15. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;
Commentary:
Comforter means a person who is an Intercessor, Consoler: – Advocate, Counselor, Helper, Strengthener and Standby. He is our advocate who argues in favor of us against Satan who is our accuser, which accuse us always. When Jesus lived in this world, He protected his disciples and guarded them as an advocate. After Jesus resurrected to Heaven, He gave us the Holy Spirit, as ANOTHER advocate or comforter to be with us forever (to dwell in us always).
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (Revelation 12:10)
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: (1 John 2:1)
John 17:12
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
Commentary:
The greatest gift of God is that “If we REPENT and turn back from all the sins committed, the Holy Spirit will plead for us to the Father so that our sins may be wiped away completely”.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38)
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? (Luke 11:13)
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
(2 Corinthians 3:17)
John 14:17
17. Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Commentary:
Only those who obey the Word of God can perceive, know and recognize God. They will certainly speak in tongue, which is an important sign of God – a Seal of the Holy Spirit. Others, who pretend themselves to be preachers and believers and yet don’t speak in tongue, are liars and they are Wolf in sheep’s clothing.
John 14:26,18,19
26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
18. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
Commentary:
Just as Jesus rose from the dead, you will also rise to live.
John 14:20
20. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. (1 Corinthians 6:19,20)
Commentary:
As a Spirit-filled Christian, you should always obey God’s Word and only then the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything Jesus have told. The ministering servants of Christ (preachers) should intercede as an advocate in favour of each individual believer. The believers in turn should devote themselves to the teachings and fellowship. Instead I see believers revolt, bite and devour one another to such an extent as to irritate and provoke the preacher to curse them.
The youth of the city mocked Elisha and so he cursed them in the name of the LORD. This is not good for both. A Spirit-filled Christian should resemble Jesus and the Holy Spirit as an advocate to intercede on behalf of the believer.
A member of the Church should not behave in such a way as to bring curse upon himself by provoking (deliberately make someone annoyed or angry) his fellow member or a true servant of God. Let there be no politics of any sort in the Church. (Politics based on Groups, Caste, Race, Locality – Place, Town, City; Relation, acquaintance, Sexually oriented groups, etc.,). God’s wrath is on these evildoers. It is better for them to leave the Church.
And he (Elisha) went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.
And he (Elisha) turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them. (2 kings 2:23,24)
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. (James 5:16-20)
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (Romans 8:27)
Commentary:
God sees your intention. Do you seek God to glorify yourself or God? for Money and worldly pleasures or for the Kingdom of God? to Serve or to be Served? . How silly is it to forget that God sees your intention? God blesses a person according to his good intention.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Colossians 3:16,17)
